Service Department Assistant Position with Diverso:

- Reports to the Service Manager
- Start Date: As soon as possible
- Permanent position (probation of 6 months)
- Hours: Mon - Fri 08:30 - 16:30
- Somerset West, Cape Town
- Market-related salary based on prior experience and a 'great fit' to the position

**About the position**

**Diverso seeks to employ a vibrant, customer-oriented go-getter to assist with our service department requirements.**

**Role Accountabilities**:

- Service-related call handling (receiving, logging, feedback and follow-up)
- Service-related quoting and billing
- Process supplier warranty claims
- Supporting the Service Manager and Service Team with the necessary administration and scheduling tasks (including calendar management)
- Assist with stock control and despatch

**The applicant should**:
1. **Be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines**
2. **Have a positive ‘can do’ attitude, with great attention to details**
3. Be naturally curious as to why processes exist, and be able to offer improvement to existing processes
4. Be very flexible, as the service environment is constantly changing and adapting to customer needs
5. Have, at least, a grade 12 Certificate, but verifiable tertiary education would be a big advantage
6. Have at least two years of experience in the customer service and/or admin industry (preferably in the copier industry)
7. Have a passion to make Diverso’s customers happy
8. Be able to work on his/her own and use initiative
9. Have excellent time management skills
10. Be computer literate (Outlook, Microsoft Office). Knowledge of an accounting system, e.g. Pastel / Omni / SAP would be a big benefit.
11. Be bilingual (Afrikaans / English)
12. Be well-spoken, presentable and able to communicate effectively
13. Be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills
14. Must have his / her own reliable transport
15. Not be afraid to make mistakes, learn from them and move on

**Remuneration**

Depending on the applicant’s skills, references provided and experience, the remuneration is highly negotiable: R15k to R25k per month, with possible bonusses and quarterly incentives.

**Salary**: R15,000.00 - R25,000.00 per month
