We are a small team, and a very flat structure so you would report directly to the COO, and support members of the Executive team when needed.
**IT Support, Data, and Systems Administrator**
As a member of the tech and data team you would be helping our division to roll out solutions that will ultimately provide our customers with the best digital retail experience in the market. These may be solutions we have either been developed in house or acquired externally. This includes being responsible for managing our
- POS (Point of Sale) and systems to support this across all our stores
- POS Data setup, administration and maintenance of items, menus and recipes
- Communications (Internet, Wifi, VOIP)
- Visual and Audio (Digital Menu's, Kiosks Music)
- Payment Terminals
- Smarty Virtual Store Manager (Internally developed Tech Solution)
We treat our restaurant operations team as our “customer” and you would be responsible for creating training material and ensuring that our customer is continuously trained and supported on these systems. We want you to conduct regular audits on the data collected in the systems and then adapt training. You will become the “expert” on these systems, and as the member on the ground, the tech team will value your input and critical assessments.
Lastly you will need to have attention to detail, communicate well, and enjoy solving complex problems.
Proficiency in Excel or Google sheets is required, and any experience on Retail POS systems (GaaP/Lightspeed/TabletPOS) would be highly beneficial. **Our Hiring Process**
Should you be called for an assessment, you will be required to write a 30 minute logic test, and a 10 minute problem solving question. It's nothing that can be prepared for, and will not require any technical expertise. This will either be completed just before the interview or arranged for a separate time.
The interview itself will be relaxed and kept informal. We want to learn more about you, and of course you of us.

**Non negotiable Requirements**:
- Must reside within 50km of Cape Town. - Must have “own” vehicle and valid drivers license
