Overview

The Order management & logistics coordinator ensures management of inventory at the local entity with balance of ensuring excellent service to customer needs as well as optimize the inbound to meet the targets.

Be a link between sales team - overseeing the proper management of sales orders - and the regional supply chain team to ensure transparency, speed and accuracy in the order management.

Manage the logistics of products both inbound to the warehouse as well as outbound to the customers flawlessly to meet customer expectations including customs, freight and warehousing controls and supervision. Work together with the regional supply chain team to ensure supply chain processes are managed and controlled locally at the entity.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with the sales team to ensure sales orders are kept up to date in ERP & ensure

transparency in the processes
- Work with EMEA Regional demand control team related to direct deliveries from EDC to end

customers regarding entering sales orders in Infor 10.5
- Work with EMEA Regional demand control team to initiate purchase orders to EDC in INFOR

10.5 to replenish stock at the local entity warehouse - in alignment of KPI targets for both

inventory value & DIO.
- Own & manage the ERP setups in local ERP in alignment to EMEA regional material planning

team directions & procedures and to ensure aligned inventory targets are met at item level and

at entity level
- Ensure that any replenishment orders to EDC are driven by sales order & ERP setups driven

automatic purchase order process, minimize / eliminate manual purchase order creations.
- Prepare regular analytics & reports of inventory, order management, aging inventory, logistics

costs etc supporting monthly MPR's and weekly supply chain meetings
- Prepare action plans to optimize inventory & logistics costs
- Own and lead the the monthly SI&OP working with sales team to gather all inputs & ensure

data transparency as well as ensure MoS inventory targets are met at product level
- Attend weekly meetings with regional planning team to report out entity inventory, order

management status
- Initiate pick-up & control the logistics from EDC or external suppliers for all inbound to the local

entity warehouse / local 3PL warehouse optimizing logistics cost & ensure requested delivery

date
- Manage the customs clearance & ensure all documentation & processes are completed to

prevent VAT issues. (collect proof of delivery documents)
- Initiate & control the outbound shipments from local warehouse / local 3PL warehouse to end

customers optimizing logistics cost & ensure requested delivery date & service level.
- Generate delivery notes, packing lists and transport documents for all shipments;
- Ensure booking of all freights thru the common platform (Cargowatch) ensuring transparency

& cost control
- Provide regular analytics of logistics costs & analytics.
- Share inspection reports with the supplier and follow up corrections of defective deliveries;
- Manage the local freight forwarder transport rate negotiations as well as freight forwarder

optimization / consolidation under the supervision of EMEA regional logistics manager
- Manage & oversee the 3PL warehouse activities
- Ensure regular cycle count and annual 4wall stock count processes are in place

Analyze the results of cycle count & 4wall stock counts, develop action plans & ensure stock

discrepancy are kept within targets
- Provide regular cycle count reports & action status
- Support optimization of material management processes and strategies/policies,

implementation of new tools & ERP as continuous improvement.
- Perform yearly supplier evaluation.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Educational Level: Experience supply chain professional
- Professional Experience: >3 years of relevant experience including managing team & 3PL
- Leadership Level: Specialist / Functional leader

Pay: R25 000,00 - R30 000,00 per month
