Orion Hotels & Resorts (South Africa) (Pty) Ltd seeks to employ Senior Sales Executives who will be responsible for sales growth of the business through the acquisition of new customers from various sectors (Leisure, Industrial, Mining, Corporate, Government, Tour Groups, etc.) as well as expanding the existing customer base to ensure long-lasting customer relationships across all sectors.

The Company's Head Office is located in Parktown, Johannesburg and although the role will predominantly be based at Head Office, it will be required of incumbents to be able to travel to various sites located across South Africa for sales purposes and be away from home for extended periods of time.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design and implement strategic sales plans in order to grow and expand the customer base and ensure a strong market presence
- Identify and manage emerging markets and market shifts and provide competitor feed-back
- Building and promoting strong, long-lasting customer relationships in order to grow and maintain a sustainable client network - successfully creating business from new and existing customer accounts
- Present Sales and Revenue Reports to Management
- Identify and attend relevant Industry events
- Ensure Customer Satisfaction through on-going communication and relationship management
- Meet and exceed Sales Targets
- Cold calling and attending face-to-face Sales Appointments with new and existing clients
- Managing complex negotiations with senior level executives
- Building rapport and establishing long-term relationships with customers.

**Desired Qualifications and Experience**:

- Grade 12 or equivalent
- A relevant Tertiary Qualification will be advantageous
- At least 5 years of experience in sales
- Proven track record in sales management
- Valid driver's licence and own vehicle essential as extensive travel is required
- Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written - must be able to present and influence effectively at all levels of the organisation
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to closure
- Hands-on attitude and results focused
- Determination and perseverance
- A high degree of Business Acumen
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Adaptable to building relationships across multiple and diverse market sectors
- Must be willing and able to be away from home for extended periods
