Responsible for Management, Maintenance and Reporting of the Server infrastructure
- Documenting of processes and implementations within the server infrastructure
- Undertake to perform administrative tasks for the IT Management team and department
- Establish a research and development plan to improve support and efficiency of the server infrastructure
- Provide inputs to CAPEX discussions relating to Server infrastructure upgrades and replacements
- Ensuring an acceptable level of performance from IT hardware investments
- Ensure systems and processes are documented and updated e.g. DR, Network, Server environment.
- Manage backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system performance and availability.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry best practices to recommend improvements.
- Provide technical support and mentorship to junior team members.
- Assist in the planning and execution of IT projects.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of Matric with MCSA / relevant IT related Qualifications
- Five years’ experience within the IT field with a track record of server management.
- Four years’ experience of Hypervisors ; specifically Hyper-V i.e. failover cluster, virtualised roles & virtual switches
- Four years’ experience of Storage Systems and connectivity technologies i.e. SAN, NAS, ISCSI, FC, SAN SWITCH
- Four years’ experience of Microsoft Exchange i.e. management of exchange, exchange upgrades, exchange migrations
- Five-years’ experience of server roles i.e. AD, DNS, DHCP, IIS configurations within a multi-site infrastructure
- Four years’ experience of networking i.e. management of core switches & vlans
- Excellent problem solving / trouble shooting skills. - Ability to work under huge and consistent pressure - Team Player and must be able to function individually with mínimal supervision. - Matured and highly professional - Strong commitment to meet deadlines. - Good interpersonal skills and ability to think proactively. - Willing to work overtime and afterhours when required.
