We are offering a Software Systems Consultant position.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Receive incoming support requests and resolve issues;
- Perform on-site deployment of new systems or upgrades (project management);
- Update and maintain the client profiles on the CDP;
- Prepare and send quotations / proposals to customers;
- Participate at expo’s as and when required;
- Provide content for the CiMSO Newsletter & Marketing mails
- Actively and continuous learning CiMSO Software Suite of products
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks and results as needed.

Secondary Responsibilities:

- Assist answering & fielding incoming phone calls, receiving, prioritizing and delivering messages
- Provide general office services and administrative processes

Personal Characteristics:

- Strong, professional personality with friendly and positive attitude;
- Effective performer in a high pressure environment, enjoying problem resolution;
- People's person capable of working in a team to achieve goals and targets;
- Accurate with figures and attention to detail.

**Required Skills**:

- Strong, professional verbal & written communications skills in English & Afrikaans;
- Computer skills, using Microsoft Windows, Office & Internet;
- Effective prioritization, organizational & problem solving skills;
- A thorough understanding of the lodging and hospitality industry and accounting systems

Mobility Requirements:

- Travel to other cities and, eventually, other countries;
- Be away from home for several weeks at a time;
- Have reliable transport to and from office;
- Do physical activities such as moving supplies and equipment;
- Mount step ladders and work with tools such as screw drivers, etc.

Educational and experience requirements:

- O-Levels / Matric / Grade 12 with Mathematics and accounting / bookkeeping or higher
- Diploma/Advanced/Higher / Graduate Diploma in Business studies or Administration /Management, Hospitality / Tourism / Hotel Management or equivalent Diploma.
- Experience in the Hotel and Lodging Industry

Environmental Factors:

- Warm and friendly working environment;
- Occasional long hours using computer and telephone;
- Operating in a busy, open area office with interruptions and meetings.
