HR Business Partner: Recruitment

**Purpose of the position**:
The HR Business Partner: Recruitment is responsible for working with key leaders across the organization, understanding current and future talent pipeline needs and putting in place sourcing and selection strategies and talent pipelines accordingly. The role will also be responsible for building recruiter and hiring manager capability as well as running the full recruitment cycle for roles across the APACE Program.
**Key Accountabilities**:
Talent Management
- Establish a strong rapport with hiring managers in APACE
- Work with Leaders to assess and understand recruitment needs and develop recruitment strategies accordingly.
- Proactively source and build future focused talent pipelines.
- Be responsible for the effective use of LinkedIn and Devex across Operating Units.
- Provide reporting and insights into the usage and optimization of LinkedIn and Devex.
- Manage all recruitment and selection for roles across the APACE Program.
- Constantly seek ways to improve current processes and align to best practice.
- Together with the HR Manager define the recruitment and selection strategies for current and pipeline roles.
- Broad knowledge of Job Evaluation and experience with Job Grading
- Research university open days, career fairs and other channels and develop a proposal for approval by the Centre of Excellence.
- Constantly seek ways and channels to source top talent and build on BroadReach's employer brand.
- Manage communication between applicants, hiring managers to ensure to keep all apprised of the status of each search
- Manage relationships with external vendors and third-party providers.
- Actively seek out opportunities to attract top talent to BroadReach.
- Complete all recruitment admin on the HR system, including other administrative duties such as fingerprints, criminal checks etc.
- Manage offer process and negotiate compensation package including salary and start dates
- When bulk start dates for projects coordinate all contract and orientation documents to be completed and returned to HR department
- Maintain all recruitment filing.
General
- Recommend improvements to current recruitment process to ensure streamlined, quick cost-effective services provided to hiring managers
- Maintain database of potential qualified professionals to rapidly respond to talent management
- As needed, support the human resources information systems
- In different projects contribute to defining sourcing strategies Prepare recruitment report
- Train and advise hiring managers on interviewing techniques and assessment methods

- Any relevant post matric qualification
**Desirable qualifications**:
- Post graduate Human Resources Degree
**Experience & skills**:
- Min 5 - 10 years proven track record in a Talent Acquisition role sourcing top talent, optimizing digital channels and other recruitment tools.
- Speaks, reads and writes isiZulu and/or siSwati
- Experience in recruiting within rural areas
- Exposure to the donor funded space
- Strong experience in implementing and driving LinkedIn across an organization.
- Experience in implementing the best recruitment strategy around graduate attraction and internships.
- Exposure to dealing with Executive members during recruitment and selection processes.
- Experience in managing the full recruitment process at a variety of levels across different functions.
- Exposure to both strategic and operational recruitment and selection deliverables.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
