Field Sales Executive

Our client, a South African Sweet Manufacturer, is looking for a Field Sales Representative to join their growing team.

This is a cold-calling Field Sales representative role, and the successful incumbent will be required to have strong cold-calling skills and be able to meet daily sales targets. P**_revious experience selling FMCG products is a must_**.

About the Role:

- Represent company's products starting with a deep and comprehensive understanding and following with consumer research to identify how solutions meet needs
- Meet weekly, monthly, and annual sales quotas through the successful implementation of sales and marketing strategies and tactics
- Generate leads, build relationships, planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets
- Develop and implement territory action plan through comprehensive data analysis, and adjust sales techniques based on interactions and results in the field
- Maintain working relationships with existing clients to ensure exceptional service and identification of potential new sales opportunities
- Identify appropriate prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls, and manage sales cycle to close new business in all service categories offered
- Prepare professional, complete, concise, and accurate reports, proposals, booking packages, and other documentation as required for executive-level presentations
- Achieve sales goals by assessing current client needs and following and defined selling process with potential buyers, often utilizing product demos and presentations
- Coordinate with other sales reps to ensure company quotas and standards are being met, performing market research and regular competitor monitoring

- **You have a Grade 12 or relevant qualification (Sales and marketing qualification will be an advantage)**:

- **You have more than 1 year’s previous experience in a sales role selling FMCG products to wholesale and retail clients**:

- You have excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, and organizational skills
- You’re able to work on sales management software and CRM
- You have personal integrity
- You have the ability to travel at least 75% of the time to attend to customers
- You have proven sales success in meetings
- You have a Driver's license and own car
