Key Accounts Manager

This position is ideally suited for an experienced Key Accounts Manager in food commodities who is eager to join a small, forward thinking entrepreneurial enterprise that is focused on quality, efficacy, and sustainable growth.
The company engages in the trading of a variety of commodities, primarily sugar. They source products from multiple suppliers and distributes it to their clientele.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Conduct regular client visits to ensure satisfaction and address any service-related concerns.
- Manage and oversee client orders to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
- Develop and implement strategies for upselling and cross-selling to enhance client service and increase revenue.
- Provide exceptional client service, maintaining a proactive approach to addressing client needs.
- Drive new sales initiatives that are eligible for commission, focusing on acquiring new clients and expanding market presence.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience in key account management or a similar role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts efficiently.
- Drive and enthusiasm for achieving sales targets.
- Must be conversational in Afrikaans to cater to a diverse client base.
