Bookkeeper/payroll Administrator

My client is currently looking for a Bookkeeper/Payroll Administrator to start immediately.
Job requirement:
- Maintain Weekly/Monthly payroll for 10-15 Clients.
- Maintain accounts for annual client base.
- Processing of books up to trial balance from source documents supplied.
- Maintenance of fixed asset register (including raising / disposal of fixed assets and passing ofdepreciation)
- Reconciliation of intercompany loan accounts
- Reconciliation of bank loans, bonds and vehicle finance agreements
- Full understanding of debtors and creditors and ability to reconcile such
- VAT Reconciliation
- Payroll Reconciliation
- Preparation of year end supporting document file for compilation of annual financial statements
- Understanding of inventory and foreign currencies advantageous
**Experience / Attributes**:
Minimum of **4 to 7 years within a bookkeeping & Payroll function**
Must have a strong understanding of vat principles.
Pastel BIC experience advantageous
Quickbooks, Sageone & Xero experience advantageous
E-filing and Easyfile experience advantageous (not essential)
Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
Need to be attention to detail driven
Strong time management skills and ability to handle pressure
Need to have the ability to use your own initiative to tackle any problems and see them through to completion
Ability to work independently as well as being a team player in order to meet department goals.
Own transport essential (may be required to travel to clients)
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: R16 000,00 - R19 000,00 per month
