Our Hillcrest based Client, is looking for a Bookkeeper to join their team.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Provide accounting services and perform capturing tasks up to trial balance for all owned companies.
- Manage financial records, reconcile accounts, and ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Oversee financial reporting and analysis, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Manage the accounting portfolio for all small to medium enterprises, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting and analysis.
- Coordinate with external stakeholders and service providers to facilitate smooth operations and compliance.
- Act as a Personal Assistant, managing the diaries and schedules of directors and Financial Managers.
- Coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements, ensuring efficient utilisation of time and resources.
- Process payroll, including calculation of wages, deductions, and taxes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Handle payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies or issues in a timely manner.
- Maintain accounts receivable and accounts payable records, manage invoicing and payments, and reconcile financial transactions.
- Monitor cash flow, prepare financial statements, and provide insights for decision-making.
- Manage documentation and records, ensuring proper organisation, storage, and retrieval of information.
- Coordinate schedules, arrange meetings, and prepare meeting agendas and materials.
- Ensure timely distribution of meeting minutes and follow-up on action items and decisions.
- Monitor statutory timelines and submissions, ensuring compliance with tax, regulatory, and reporting requirements.
- Prepare and file necessary documents and reports with relevant authorities.

**Desired Experience & Qualification**
- Relevant tertiary qualification will be beneficial (Diploma or degree in accounting).
- Experience as a Bookkeeper to trial balance.
- Experience processing payroll.
