**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Work on Omni Accounting to reconcile creditors, debtors, journals entries to ledger and import banking and allocations.
- Extract VAT201 reports, complete and submit VAT201 returns on SARS eFiling and set up payments for client to authorise (push payments)
- Calculate PAYE, UIF and SDL, complete and submit EMP201 returns as required.
- Work with EasyFile, reconcile EMP 501’s and attend to submissions both on eFiling and EasyFile as required.
- Complete workmen’s compensation returns, liaise with the compensation office for all enquires, statements and invoices.
- Process payroll on Sage Payroll Professional in Cloud (VIP) and maintaining employee records
- Management Accounts control.
- Supplier and Customer Ageing Control
- Capture and balancing Cash Books
- Filing Source Document Control

Desired Experience & Qualification
- BCom degree, relevant bookkeeping or accounting qualifications
- Experience with Omni Accounting and VIP
- 5 years of Bookkeeping Experience
- Experience in an accounting firm beneficial
- Experience on accounting software
- Strong Bookkeeping / Account Knowledge
- Strong Computer Literacy, including Microsoft Office and Excel specific skills
- Strong interpersonal / people management skills
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
