**Key Performance Outputs**
- Analyse market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Prepare sales forecasts reports for management review.
- Analyse sales data and prepare reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market developments.
- Attend trade shows and industry events to network and generate leads.
- Identify and target potential hardware retailers to expand our customer base through proactive prospecting and cold calling efforts.
- Visit clients to show and demonstrate products.
- Achieve monthly sales targets.
- Follow up on sales leads.
- Build and maintain sound business relationships with clients.
- Presentations to clients.
- Prepare quotations for clients.
- Monitor / track the delivery of orders to customers and ensure that orders are delivered on time.

**Technical Skills and Experience**
- Minimum 5 years proven experience in sales of hardware tools, building and plumbing materials.
- Must have a well established network of contacts in the industry.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and negotiation skills.
- Proven track record of successfully achieving sales targets.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver's license and willingness, ability to travel as needed. Please note that during the first two years there will be extensive travel as the successful applicant builds up clientele.
- Highly motivated and hands-on attitude.

Pay: R20 000,00 - R25 000,00 per month

**Experience**:

- Hardware Tools, Building and Plumbing Materials Sales: 5 years (preferred)
