**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
The incumbent will be responsible to manage sales in the specified region by fostering long-lasting relationships through commercial and technical support with key stakeholders and partners.
Duties will include the following:
- Manage sales operations, optimizing marketing materials aligned with area strategy
- Enhance key customer relationships with distributors, agents, and farmers
- Ensure accurate forecasting for timely product delivery, adhering to BASF guidelines
- Develop proposals for strategic product positioning and implement them in the region
- Establish strong relationships through regular meetings with the area team and stakeholders
- Provide support during farmers' days and sales events, offering on-farm technical assistance
- Conduct technical training for distributors, agents, and farmers
- Attend relevant crop meetings, communicating decisions to customers and agents
- Optimize marketing material in crop protection in line with area strategy in partnership with the marketing department
- Manage and monitor demo trials applicable to specified region
- Actively represent BASF Group interests, ensuring compliance and adherence to the Code of Conduct
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Degree in Agricultural, Sales, Marketing, or any other equivalent tertiary qualification coupled with a certificate in AVCASA and/or BASOS
- Minimum 3 - 5 years of technical experience in the agriculture industry combined with strong sales background
- Good understanding of pesticides (fungicides, herbicides, and insecticides)
- Sound knowledge of Fruit and Grape Crops
- Proficient in MS Office packages including Excel and Power Point
- Excellent presentation skills to uphold BASF Agricultural Product brand image
