We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated Head of Sales in Cape Town to lead our commercial effort and growth in South Africa (B2B and B2C).

The Head of Sales will be responsible for driving direct sales efforts, developing and executing strategic sales plans, building long-term customer relationships, and ensuring alignment of customer needs with company offerings.

The Head of Sales will lead a talented sales team and requires strong people and stakeholder management skills and an inner sense of customer obsession.

Also, the Head of Sales will report to the Country Manager and support the development of strategic partnerships and business.

**Your impact**- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company targets and objectives in the PV systems/solar energy sector.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team, setting clear goals and providing guidance to ensure individual and collective success.
- Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets to expand our business and impact.
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry partners, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated with industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to make informed strategic decisions.
- Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to create effective sales collateral and promotional materials.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to the executive team, providing insights and recommendations for business growth.

**Your profile**- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in sales, including a leadership role.
- An entrepreneurial and ambitious mindset is key.
- Eligibility to work full-time in the Cape Town office is required.
- Proven track record of developing, executing, and achieving direct sales targets, preferably in the energy industry.
- Strong business acumen and experience building partnerships and creating business opportunities.
- Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, Salesforce, Excel, PowerPoint, and other sales tools is desired.
- Ability to work independently and as a team player, with strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
- You speak fluent English, any other language is a plus.
