The Talent Acquisition Officer is responsible for managing and overseeing the talent acquisition and recruitment processes and strategies for the business. The role will be crucial to expand and bolster the high-performance and cohesive team at Teraco.

**OBJECTIVES**

**Main Function of the Job**
- Develop and lead initiatives to recruit and select a high caliber, professional and diverse workforce that identifies with Teraco’s culture
- Build relationships with managers to understand their hiring needs
- Assist with developing job descriptions for new roles
- Publish all vacant roles on company recruitment site
- Manage the employee referral programme
- Review, and screen applicant CV’s for hiring managers
- Planning out the entire interview and selection process, which includes screening calls and in-person interviews
- Train and assist hiring managers to conduct structured, competency based interviews
- Work with hiring managers to develop relevant sourcing and/or screening techniques (e.g. case studies, psychometric testing) to identify and attract talent and develop fast integration and development plans
- Collate interview feedback and provide input and guidance into hiring decisions
- Coordinate and review all background checks and references as per the company’s recruitment policy
- Manage recruitment agencies and vendors associated with recruitment where applicable
- Adhoc projects - assist with HR audits, preparation for submission of legislative reports, learnership programmes etc.

**Qualifications and certification**
- Relevant tertiary qualification
- 3 years’ experience in a recruitment role
