Duties/Pligte
**Communications and Marketing**:

- Servicing the Faculty's marketing and communications committee;
- Coordinating social media - bi-annual planning and monthly meetings with SUNMedia for content planning, and sending through all information to be posted on social media channels;
- Coordinating web content - liaising with journalists, managing uploads, managing layout changes, and coordinating the new roll out of the University website on the Faculty's behalf;
- Updating brochures/Faculty information;
- Coordinating content to be used for marketing with regards to practical learning (at schools and at the Faculty) i.e., arranging photographer/videographer to capture footage, arranging for permission at schools, etc.;
- Updating the co-curriculum prospectus - consulting individuals in the Faculty about co-curriculum projects and updating information to be sent to the co-curriculum office;
- Coordinating the Faculty newsletter - finding collaborators, sending out for design/editing, making it available to audiences on all relevant channels;
- Responding to messages on social media channels;
- Initiating/coordinating webinars (Educational Conversations series) - consulting academics about relevant topics within education to be discussed, coordinating with all role players, i.e. the streaming company and the speakers, and managing the marketing;
- Closely collaborating with the Education Student Committee (ESC);
- Representing the Faculty at the Website Redesign Panel.

**Recruitment**:
Representing the Faculty in all recruitment activities executed by the Centre for Student Recruitment (CSR) or other SU committees.

**Alumni**:

- Representing the Faculty at the Alumni Forum;
- Assisting with the development of the Alumni strategy;
- Coordinating all alumni focused events.

**Kommunikasie en Bemarking**:

- Koördineer die Fakulteit se bemarkings
- en kommunikasiekomitee;
- Koördineer sosiale media - tweejaarlikse beplanning en maandelikse veranderings met SUNMedia vir die beplanning van inhoud, en stuur enige inligting deur om op sosiale media platforms geplaas te word;
- Koördineer webbladinhoud - vra stories aan van joernaliste, bestuur die oplaai van inhoud, bestuur uitlegveranderinge, en koördineer die uitvoer van die US se nuwe webbladstrategie namens die Fakulteit;
- Bestuur opdatering van brosjures/die Fakulteit se bemarkingsmateriaal;
- Koördineer bemarkingsmateriaal met betrekking tot praktiese leer (by skole en by die Fakulteit). Dit sluit in die reël van 'n fotograaf/videograaf en reël vir toestemming by skole, ens.;
- Bestuur opdatering van inligting vir die ko-kurrikulum prospektus - kontak individue in die Fakulteit oor ko-kurrikulum-projekte en stuur nuwe inligting na die ko-kurrikulum kantoor;
- Koördineer die Fakulteit nuusbrief - vind bydraes, stuur vir ontwerp/redigering, en bestuur die verspreiding van die nuusbrief aan gehore op alle toepaslike platforms;
- Beantwoord boodskappe op sosiale media platforms;
- Inisieer en koördineer webinare (Educational Conversations reeks) - doen navraag oor toepaslike onderwerpe binne die veld van opvoedkunde wat bespreek kan word, koördineer alle rolspelers soos bv. persoon verantwoordelik vir lewendige stroming, sprekers, en bestuur die bemarking;
- Noue samewerking met die Opvoedkunde Studentekomitee (OSK);
- Verteenwoordig die Fakulteit by die Webblad Herontwerp Paneel.

**Werwing**:
Verteenwoordig die Fakulteit in alle werwingsaktiwiteite wat deur die Sentrum vir Studentewerwing (CSR) en ander US-komitees uitgevoer word.

**Alumni**:

- Verteenwoordig die Fakulteit by die US Alumni Forum;
- Skep 'n alumni-strategie;
- Koördineer alle alumni-geleenthede.

Job Requirements/Pos Vereistes
- Relevant degree or an equivalent qualification (NQF 7);
- Three years' work experience in a similar role;
- Excellent time management skills and organisational skills;
- Excellent interpersonal skills, an ability to work independently, but also to manage external and internal relationships;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- The proven ability to perform various tasks successfully within budget constraints;
- Innovative, creative and detail oriented.
- Toepaslike graad of 'n gelykwaardige kwalifikasie (NQF 7);
- Drie jaar ervaring in 'n soortgelyke rol;
- Uitstekende tydsbestuur en organisatoriese vaardighede;
- Uitstekende interpersoonlike vaardighede; die vermoë om onafhanklik te werk, maar ook om interne en eksterne verhoudings te handhaaf;
