Sales
Drive a collaborative process with Brand executive team to development a strategic roadmap for the brand’s international growth
Take ownership and responsibility for execution of the strategy
Development long-term relationships in relevant markets and ongoing evaluation of the international sales network
Compilation of sales budget and allocation of stock
Communication with outlets to determine sales targets
Communication with distribution agents internationally to increase international distribution and premiumisation
Responsible for development of annual International Revenue and Expense budgets, operating profit (P&L)
Establishing sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories; and projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products
Maintaining sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors
Establishing and adjusting selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand.
Promotions
Compilation and execution of promotional plans with business associates and the media
Development of promotional material for international markets
Supervision of the execution of all in-market promotional activities (partnering with regional agents/partners)
Participation at relevant international wine shows
Liaison with winemaker/s in participation of local and international promotional activities.
General Management
Compilation monthly management report
Review and analysis of market macro and industry trends to identify and plan for opportunities and threats
Handling all administrative tasks applicable to the role and objectives.
Commercial
Efficient management of operational budget to maximise return on international investment
Ensure beneficial commercial agreements/contracts with partners, with clear performance objectives, metrics and evaluation processes

**Qualifications**:
3-year tertiary qualification in marketing or business would be ideal
5-8 years’ experience in an international sales environment in the wine industry,
Excellent communication skills at senior levels
Knowledge of the wine industry
Commercial acumen
Understanding of marketing principles and practices
Ability to negotiate and influence others
Fluent in English. Additional languages would be advantageous
No restrictions on ability to travel frequently (clear criminal record)
