Our client is looking for an experienced **Payroll Administrator **to join the team temporarily. You will be responsible for coordinating with clients and preparing their pay runs.

**Location**: Stellenbosch, Cape Town

**Hours**: Monday to Friday 8:00 - 17:00 In office

**Salary**: R15 000 - R20 000 (depending on experience)

**Contract Term**:Temporary cover for Maternity (until September 2023)

**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate with farmers to ensure timely and accurate data processing for payroll.
- Processing payroll sheets from check-lists, ensuring that all payroll information is accurate and up-to-date.
- Respond to inquiries from clients and remove any payroll related issues in a timely manner.
- Understand and utilize software systems and technology tools to optimize the payroll administration process.
- Calculate and process payroll deductions, including taxes, benefits, and retirement contributions.
- On-boarding and setting up individual customers payroll configurations.
- Ensure payroll sheets are processed and delivered on time, on spec and with delight.
- Create and maintain payroll reports and other related documents.
- Work closely with the HR department to ensure that employee data is accurate and up-to-date.

**Requirements**:

- National Senior Certificate (or higher)
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English.
- Excellent Excel experience
- 2-5 years payroll administration experience
- Understanding of payroll systems and software
- Resides in or nearby Stellenbosch
- Able to work full-time, in office to cover this maternity contract

**Salary**: R15,000.00 - R20,000.00 per month

- Stellenbosch, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
