- **Warehouse Control and Administration**_
- Facilitate the shipping of products from one destination to another
- Arrange transportation and orchestrate deliveries to meet customer demand with little to no delay
- Prepares daily delivery sheets
- Trace, track and expedite purchase processes to ensure timely deliveries
- Create and maintain contact with vendors and customers to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Manages activities throughout the order fulfilment and transportation cycle to make sure established deadlines are met
- Plan shipments based on product availability and customer requests
- Prepare and review shipping documents (like invoices, purchase orders, delivery notes and picking slips)
- Maintain updated records of purchase orders and stock quantity and positions on ERP system to ensure accuracy of all inventories (FIFO).
- Provide information to customers about the status of their orders
- Interact with third-party logistics service providers
- Responsible for the review, verification, and reconciliation of shipping documents
- Provide support in completing paperwork and documentation
- Carry out clerical work, including typing, proofreading, and editing documents, correspondence, and reports for the logistics department or assigned
- Support with developing and preparing reports, and/or presentation material for the logistics unit
- Responsible for entering data into spreadsheets from multiple sources, as well as verifying input and calculations
- Provide support in the maintenance of electronic filing system for administrative documentation that guarantees swift retrieval of requested documents
- Working proactively with various departments to realize efficiencies and manage expectations
- Maintain communication with warehouse staff to ensure proper working order
- Comply with laws, regulations, and OHS&E requirements
- Following up on backlogs and updating customers accordingly
- Sending waybills to customers timeously
- Replenishment of stock
- **Ad-hoc Assignments**_
- Perform any other work-related duties and responsibilities that may be as-signed from time-to-time by management
- Assist with customer complaints handling.
- To attend training courses as identified and agreed for appropriate development.
- Updating of Warehouse daily statistics and KPI’s on excel sheet
- **3. EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATION**_
- Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role and must obtain a National Senior Certificate and an NQF level 5/6 qualification will be advantageous. _**OR**_
- Minimum 3 years related experience including a combination of related training and must obtain a National Senior Certificate.
- Proficient in SAGE Evolution 200, SAGE CRM
- Microsoft 365
- SAP (Advantageous)
