**Sales Accounts Manager**
**SA - Johannesburg**

The Channel sales Accounts Manager wins, maintains, and expands relationships with assigned channel partners/clients for Southern Africa (SADC) market for IBM Business. She or he is responsible for achieving sales through recruiting active partners and ensuring profitability and payment from clients. She or he will be representing the entire range of company products and services but with force on the KPI vendor, IBM Hardware within the SADC region to meet our client’s needs/ expectations.
- Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned partner/client accounts.
- Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet partner/client performance objectives and partner/clients’ expectations.
- Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned partner/client accounts.
- Achieves assigned sales quota in designated partner accounts and provides weekly reporting and updates to the line manager and IBM
- Prepares a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals.
- Maximizes all opportunities in the process of closing a sale resulting in the taking of market share from larger competitors.
- Proactively establishes and maintains effective working team relationships with all support departments.
- Maintains contact with all partners & clients in the market area to ensure high levels of Satisfaction
