**JOB TITLE: Accounts Receivable Administrator**

**REPORTING TO: Accounts Receivable Manager**

**PURPOSE OF THE POSITION**

Billing and invoicing of amounts owed to Optix for goods delivered and services rendered. The collection of amounts invoiced and owing to DriveRisk including credit management and the managing of bad debt and credit risk. Also responsible for the reconciliation of accounts receivable.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Will be responsible for full credit control function for the portion of the debtors book assigned
- Checking & invoicing of new deployments (DriveCam, DriveAlert, MobilEye, Surfsight)
- Picking of stock items in the Velocity stock management system for new deployments
- Recurring monthly billing - Processing of invoices
- Sending of monthly statements
- Ad-hoc invoicing (De
- & re-installations, DriveCam peripherals etc), when required.
- Processing credit notes where required
- Preparation of reconciliations of account where required
- Account allocations and matching of payments to invoices
- Attending to any queries that customers may have on their accounts
- Capturing details billed/invoiced in IQ financial reporting system onto Velocity stock
- Meeting with clients to resolve account queries where face-to-face meetings are needed
- Processing of cancellations where clients have cancelled
- Will report directly to the Accounts Receivable Manager
- Liaising with other departments to resolve billing and account queries (eg. Orders, Client Management, Sales, Support, Logistics, Picking, Engineering)
- Other debtors/accounts/admin work assigned from time to time by the CFO or CEO
- Other - Any other projects or bodies of work that may be directed by the CEO or CFO from time to time
- Generation of manual delivery notes (for new orders where we don’t issue an invoice initially)

**EDUCATION AND TRAINING**
- Minimum Grade 12
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Financial Administration related position
- Financial qualification (Diploma, Degree) would be an advantage
- Excellent MS Outlook & Excel knowledge and skills. Good MS Word & Powerpoint
- knowledge and skills would be advantageous.

**EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS**
- Proven work experience as an Accounts Administrator or similar role
- Knowledge of excel.
- Data entry skills
- Good organisational and time management abilities
- Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
