1. Control and administer all aspects of Junior Officers Salaries as well as Personnel Administration in order to ensure correct remuneration. (Checking of new appoint entries on their pay sheet after unlocked info types 8/9)
2. Administer the personnel administration processes - timekeeping, new entrants, transfers, migrations, exits, promotions, funeral claims, resignations, medicals, leave so as to ensure the proper procedures and maintenance of records and compliance with relevant HR policies and procedures, within SAP systems and processes.
3. Printing and prompt distribution of electronic IRP5’s and IT3A to employees both in service and those who have left the service.
4. In-house Training of SAP system users and assist with T&A Queries (HR users, Timekeepers, System enquires), Done to ensure competent and suitably qualified users, and also ensure accuracy of system results with regards to personnel, pay, timekeeping and reporting for Bargaining Unit Employees
5. Administer all deductions and see that they comply with company policies to ensure correct deductions.
6. Administer and control the correct issuing of Travel concessions to ensure the Travel concessions regulations for
Bargaining Unit Employees are adhered to.
7. Capture all payment data on system e.g. acting, allowances, travel claims etc. to ensure correct payment.
8. Compare info on SAP system against timecards and compare with simulation run and correct irregularities. (Verifying Timecard with Dummy Pay sheet to ensure there is no unnecessary short payment or error deductions.
9. Printing of Timesheets, and Remuneration statements and enveloping pay sheets for distribution
10. Do leave audits on a regular basis and upon termination to determine if leave has accrued correctly and that leave is compensated correctly.
11. Reports: standard and adhoc -(Pull SAP Stats when requested by departments e.g Employee movement, leave
balances, headcount, time exceptions, GSL report, Absenteeism report etc. )
12. Interview and process advances for employees with emergency situations.
13. Preparing documents and reconciling the complete payroll signoff process at the end of the month.
14. Attend Operational Meetings at the Terminals e.g. MDT, Green Area Meeting and Shift Indabas
15. Recording and distribution of PTO’s and leave books
16. Capturing fingerprints on X-Time for newly appointed employees
17. Preparing for periodic internal and external payroll audits

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Matric, SAP literacy.
- 2-3 years is the minimum experience
- HR policies and procedure

- Knowledge of BCEA

- Bargaining Council agreement
- SAP- pay system
- Tax Laws
