Reporting to the Head of Finance (Africa region), the **HEAD OF FINANCE: SHARED SERVICES** will be responsible for working closely with Finance Business Units and leading financial processes, financial accounting and managing group reporting and deadlines.

Structure of Financial Shared Services for Africa:

- Financial Accounting and Reporting
- Tax Treasury and Insurance management
- Payroll
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable

Key activities of the Head of Finance, Shared Services:

- Managing a large finance shared services team in multiple locations.
- Management of the financial Accounting and Reporting function (Financial reporting, Financial Accounting)
- Credit Control management
- Accounts payable management
- Treasury management
- Management of the group payroll
- Management of group insurance
- Management of the shared services operations
- Supports BBBEE Audits
- Implement efficient Business unit financial processes.

Qualifications, Experience and Competencies:

- CA(SA) - Articles completed at major firm (Big 4)
- at least 8 years post articles experience
- Experience in financial management at senior management level
- Experience managing large finance teams (shared services) preferably in a fast paced or FMCG environment
- Knowledge and experience with financial ERP systems (d365)

This role will suit a technically proficient and seasoned CA who has proven leadership and operational management experience in fast paced environments.

This role is based in Midrand, South Africa.
