Responsibilities of the Role-
OperationsManagement:
·Leads the P&OShared Services for Sub Saharan Africa and drives for a high performance,strong customer/business focus and service-oriented culture by understandingcustomers'and users' needs, expectations, and key business drivers.
·Manages the assignedteam to achieve high efficiency, quality, compliance and customer and usersatisfaction across the entire employee life cycle inclusive of Onboarding,Benefit consulting, all the way through to offboarding.
·Contributes tocontinuous process and IT improvement, standardisation, and automation ofvarious HRIS Systems such as Workday, PaySpace, etc.
·The management ofshare plan administration.
·Ensure achievementof SLA targets and agreed global KPIs, identification of root causes ofoperational issues and implementation of improvement measures.
·Manages escalationsand identifies process improvement initiatives to consistently deliver anoptimised performance.
·Coordinates and/orliaises with external service providers and monitors their performance againstrespective SLAs.
·Contributes toregulatory updates within P&O Regional Organisation
·Is the main point ofcontact for company liabilities with external Institutions (e.g. SocialSecurity, Insurances, Government departments etc) and ensures compulsorydocumentation is always accurate and updated in case of external audit.
·Manages the P&Oadministration process of special projects including carve-in and carve-outs.
·Ensure adherence toall BCG Rules and responsibilities such as EHS/Quality Management etc.
·Decides on personnel resource allocation and isresponsible for the management of related budget planning and reporting.
PeopleManagement
·Leads and coordinates the assigned team (both local and offshore)
·Act as an role model, by building a culture ofteamwork, ownership, and trust. As a natural people leader, empower and balancea team of skilled and engaged employees.
·Fosters peopledevelopment by setting targets, coaching, providing feedback, encouragingknowledge management, skills development, foster team culture to ensure astrong service attitude and high level of employee engagement.
·Foster communication and cross-collaboration within ther team and with the global colleagues.
·Develop and nurture a long-term trust-basedrelationship with key internal stakeholders and partner with the local countryand global support functions
Qualifications and Experience
·Relevantformal qualification in Human Resources Management or equivalent experience.
·5+years of managerial experience leading teams and projects
·Processand Change Management experience (advantageous)
·Knowledgeand experience in the administration of both Blue- and White-Collar Employees
·Understandingof Sub-Saharan Africa Country Legislation
·Experiencewith Workday HRIS, PaySpace Payroll and other HR IT Applications
·Goodknowledge of HR / People Management core processes
·Excellentcommunication skills both verbal and written (Business English)
·Strong negotiation skills

·Advanced knowledge of Microsoftapplications (specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
·Knowledge of Power BI reporting tools
