**UNIVERSITY GOVERNANCE**
Policies and Procedures for procurement, transport, assets, finance, as well as academic promotions, general and professorial appointments

**FACULTY FINANCE**
Monitoring of Faculty and Departmental budgets (e.g. Capex, transport budget, staff budget, Operational budget etc.)Monitor earmarked funds (e.g. DoE and PAWC funding).
Processing and monitoring of all staffing (e.g. long and short-term contracts, retirements, new positions and the processing of personal promotions of academics. Finance-Masterpiece (Procurement activities, acquisition of assets, monitoring of departmental budgets, monitoring and management of restricted entities, assist with budget reports from masterpiece.)Asset Management (Tender process meetings, procurement of faculty operational supplies, equipment and services, keep asset register)

Faculty Events (e.g. Open Day, Compilation of Brochures, Career Exhibitions)

**ADMINISTRATION**
Committee Administration (e.g. General and Professorial Appointments/Promotions, Ad Personam Promotions, Chairperson Selection and Deputy Dean's Selections Committee)
Written and verbal communication, minute taking and report writing, commission of oath, address queries

**HUMAN RESOURCES**
Training and development - identifying training needs, assist with training & management of administrative staff

**Minimum Requirements**
- Matric with a B. Degree
- A minimum of 5 years administration working experience in a tertiary institution
- A minimum of 3 years staff supervision
- Knowledge and experience of human resource recruitment system
- Knowledge and experience of financial management systems
- Experience in managing and monitoring of Budgets
- Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders and manage multiple parallel processes
- Proven report writing and minute taking skills and working ability with a Committee Management System
- Working knowledge and experience of higher education governance policies, procedures and structures
- Proficiency in MS Office and Digital Media
