- Closing Date- 31/10/2024**Role Clarification & Key Performance Areas**
- Facilitate learning and teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in the SRES department.
- Conduct research and publish in the field of Sport Sciences/Biokinetics.
- Undertake undergraduate and postgraduate supervision.
- Supervision of research projects.
- Participation in research programmes, curriculum development and staff development.
- Engaging in community-related activities.
- Responsible for administrative duties within the department/unit, faculty and the university.

**Minimum Requirements**
- PhD in Biokinetics.
- Experience in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.
- A track record of quality peer reviewed publications in the field of Sports Sciences and Biokinetics.
- Full registration with the HPCSA in biokinetics.
- Full registration with the Biokinetics Association of South Africa (BASA).
- Postgraduate research supervision experience (Honours or Masters supervision).
- Evidence of peer reviewed publications.
- Added advantages
- Proficiency in two or more South African languages.
- Experience in research supervision at a PhD level.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Evidence of community engagement in diverse contexts.
- At least three (3) years’ experience in a higher education institution.
