The Quality Systems Controller will ensure the continuous improvement and compliance of the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) with ISO standards by developing and implementing policies, procedures, and corrective actions. You will manage nonconformities, maintain document control, and oversee the proper functioning of internal audits and external assessments. Additionally, you will maintain strong relationships with accreditation bodies and ensure that all equipment and documentation are up to standard and properly maintained.
What You Will Accomplish in this role
- Participates in the development and maintenance of Company’s Quality Management Systems (QMS)
- Creates policies and procedures related to the improvement of the QMS.
- Participates in the development and implementation of the continual improvement objectives of the Company.
- Researches and resolves reports of nonconformity in testing or administration work.
- Ensures clarifications in conformance criteria are provided to relevant staff.
- Attends external assessments, as required.
- Organizes and conducts management review meetings as required by ISO standards.
- Provides weekly Quality Management reports to management, as required.
- Ensures corrective action and preventive action is implemented, as required by ISO standards.
- Ensures adequate document control procedures are established and followed.
- Ensures quality for all documentation and records.
- Provides and maintains procedures and forms, as required.
- Assists in the development, planning, scheduling and execution of the internal audit programs.
- Assures, manages and maintains contacts with accreditation bodies.
- Manages, creates plans, and solves NCR’s raised by accreditation bodies.
- Ensures equipment inventory and calibration records are maintained in the office

**Education, Experience and Skills**:

- A Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline is strongly preferred.
- An equivalent combination of education and/or experience that demonstrates knowledge and understanding of quality standards for ISO accreditation may be considered in lieu of educational requirements.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to demonstrate thorough knowledge of applicable ISO standards and quality management principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook is required.
- Must have the ability to effectively read, write, speak, understand and communicate in English sufficiently to perform the duties of this position.
- Must have the ability to handle and organize multiple projects and deadlines.
- Must demonstrate a high degree of attention to quality, details, and correctness.
