Job Introduction

G4S Cash Solutions (SA), a leading provider of integrated cash management solutions, has a vacancy for a Local Quality Assurance Controller based at our manufacturing in Midrand.

G4S Cash Deposita has an opportunity for an Local Quality Assurance Controller within our Manufacturing department based at our operations in Midrand.

The Quality Assurance Controller is responsible for the final user test on ABMs. All quality aspects related to final QA are to be managed to world class standards with the measurement of success directly related to the amount of quality related queries received through the various channels.

Main Responsibilities**Quality Control**
Ensure effective Quality control through:

- Continuous analysis of quality control process and mechanisms
- Detailed quality control during the final QA process to ensure that all ABMs conform to a minimum standard.
- Recording of non-conforming ABMs and rejecting those.
- Tracking which items have to be reworked by the Assembly Technician
- Design and present quality improvement ideas, process and systems based on root cause analysis.
- Stay abreast of Best practices in relation to production

**Health and Safety**
- Participate in the design/ development/ review/ implementation and monitoring of the branch/region/national safety plans for each year.
- Participate in safety forums created by company for example safety meetings and safety talks
- Report all safety incidents to the relevant people
- Discuss all safety incidents on all levels
- Follow-up on any activities assigned through safety meeting/committee/representative/management
- Attend safety education and refresher programmes
- Comply with safety policies and procedures at workplace
- Distribute safety information as and when required
- Wear protective clothing all the time
- Matric certificate
- Min 5 years within the production / manufacturing / repairs / maintenance department within the ABM manufacturing industry
- Leadership experience will be beneficial
- Quality Control experience will be beneficial
