Sales Consultant, Measurement Solutions for Export

Reports to Chief Operating Officer. The scope of this role entails measurement, analytical, flow, density, and tank gauging solutions.

Be prepared to travel cross border (potentially for two weeks of every month) and visit customers in the export territories including Zambia, DRC, Namibia and Mozambique. Responsible for the Sales of Cross Divisional Products and Solutions within the company. This function is responsible for the creation and maintenance of sustainable customer relationships through planned customer visits, technical product and sales presentations, daily opportunity follow-up, thorough understanding of customer requirements and development of leads for service and repair opportunities through engagement with the Service Departments.

**Position details**:
Pursue new customers
Face to face consultative selling
Monthly sales forecast report for day-to-day sales, maintenance and updating of Maximiser CRM with relevant information
Execute defined sales strategies to win and meet sales budget
Consult with internal support structures for engineering solutions to assist customers
Gather data required for sizing and selection, refer to sales support and internal resources for solutions
Present product presentations and demonstrations
Follow up on quoted opportunities
Provide win / loss reasons in customer relationship management system
Administer sales quotes register
Plan, lead and execute Site Walk Downs and capture information accurately
Actively promote company service and repair capability
Provide effective after-sales service to customers
Create and maintain relationships with new stakeholders
Gather customer information to identify new opportunities

**Job Qualification & Experience**:
Academic Qualifications
Grade 12
N3 preferably with Process Instrumentation, where N3 is a minimum requirement
N6 would be preferable
Industrial Trade Test in Instrumentation (advantageous)

Experience
Sales experience required
Two years industry experience
Process plant knowledge (advantageous)
Driver’s licence required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
MS Office Suite
Customer service orientation
Effective time management
High level of interpersonal and communication skills
Execute tasks effectively
