Key Responsibilities:
As a Project Manager in Energy, Recovery, and Environmental Services, you will have a pivotal role in managing projects with our main customers in South Africa.

Reporting to the Manager ERE PMO and Site Operation SEMEA based in Europe, your responsibilities will include:

- Managing projects and service agreements
- Leading the local project and site operation team
- Participating in site works during mill outages
- Managing and coordinating site works and local subcontractors
- Providing technical support to the project sales process
- Supporting the sales of Energy, Recovery, and Environmental Services
- Project cost calculations, follow-up, and reporting
- Project planning and schedules
- Procurement of project materials, sub-suppliers, and manpower
- Developing and managing the local contractor network
- Preparation of project documentation
- Supervision of service project deliveries and emergency repairs
- Preparation of customer visit and project reports

Qualifications:

- Technical background with a minimum of BEng degree or equivalent in mechanical/process/thermal engineering
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in project deliveries and works, preferably related to power plant and pulp mill recovery operations
- Good experience in site supervision work
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Service-minded with excellent project management skills
- Capable of preparing technical reports and documentation and using project reporting systems
- Good knowledge of power plant and/or pulp mill recovery processes is considered an advantage
- Ability to operate independently
- Team player with good interpersonal skills
- Willingness to travel
