**Job Overview**:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented draftsman to join our dynamic team at Thula Moya Energy. The draftsman will play a key role in the successful execution of our solar projects, focusing on the compilation of engineering packs, project documentation, project management oversight, and managing cost, schedule, and delivery during the engineering and procurement process. This role also includes responsibilities for managing Work Order Kick Off meetings, change management, and delivering comprehensive project proposals.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Engineering Pack Compilation**:

- Develop and compile engineering packs, including Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) and PV designs.
- Utilize software such as AutoCad, Helioscope, and PVSol to create accurate and optimized designs.
- Ensure all designs meet regulatory and client-specific requirements.
- **Project Documentation Management**:

- Create and manage all project documentation, including commissioning reports and project handover documents.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure timely and thorough documentation handover to clients upon project completion.
- **Project Management**:

- Oversee project operations, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and construction, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- **Client and Stakeholder Relationship Management**:

- Maintain daily communication and interface with the client engineer and other stakeholders.
- Ensure that all parties are kept informed of project status, changes, and developments.
- **Quality Assurance**:

- Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure all engineering work meets industry standards and client expectations.
- Conduct site visits as needed to oversee installation and ensure adherence to designs and specifications.

**Qualifications**:

- Proficiency in AutoCad, Helioscope, PVSol, and other relevant software.
- Strong understanding of solar PV systems, SLDs, and related engineering principles.
- Excellent project management skills, with a track record of successfully managing complex projects.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Experience in managing cost, schedule, and delivery during the engineering and procurement process.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay: R18 000,00 - R25 000,00 per month
