Job Title: Revenue Manager - Hotel and Game Lodge Group, Bryanston
Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Revenue Manager to join our hotel and game lodge group based in Bryanston. As the Revenue Manager, you will be responsible for maximizing revenue and profitability across our diverse portfolio of properties by implementing strategic pricing, distribution, and inventory management strategies. You will analyze market trends, monitor competitor performance, and leverage data-driven insights to optimize revenue streams and drive business growth.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and implement comprehensive revenue management strategies to maximize revenue and profitability for the hotel and game lodge group.
- Monitor market trends, competitor performance, and demand forecasts to identify opportunities and challenges in the marketplace.
- Analyze historical data, booking patterns, and customer segmentation to optimize pricing, distribution channels, and inventory availability.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and reservations teams to develop pricing strategies, promotional offers, and packaging options to drive revenue growth.
- Utilize revenue management systems and tools to track performance metrics, generate reports, and make data-driven decisions.
- Conduct regular revenue meetings with property management teams to review performance, discuss strategies, and identify areas for improvement.
- Monitor and adjust room rates, availability controls, and inventory restrictions in response to market demand and booking patterns.
- Implement dynamic pricing strategies, including rate fences, length-of-stay restrictions, and channel management tactics to maximize revenue potential.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of distribution channels, online travel agencies (OTAs), and third-party booking platforms, and negotiate contracts to optimize channel mix and reduce distribution costs.
- Stay informed about industry trends, technology advancements, and best practices in revenue management, and share knowledge and insights with the team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field. Master's degree or professional certification in revenue management preferred.
- Proven experience in revenue management or related roles within the hospitality industry, with a minimum of [insert number] years of experience.
