**Job Title: Waitron (Waiter/Waitress)**

**Job Overview**:
The Waitron will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to guests at a restaurant, cafe, or any dining establishment. They will play a vital role in creating a positive dining experience by efficiently serving food and beverages, taking orders, and ensuring guests' needs are met promptly and professionally.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greeting and Seating Guests: Welcome guests as they arrive, escort them to their tables, and ensure they are comfortable and attended to throughout their dining experience.
- Taking Orders: Accurately record guests' food and beverage preferences, special requests, and dietary restrictions. Answer any questions about the menu and provide recommendations when necessary.
- Food and Beverage Service: Serve meals and beverages to guests with precision and attention to detail. Ensure that all orders are correct, properly plated, and delivered in a timely manner.
- Upselling: Offer additional menu items, promotions, or specials to increase revenue and enhance the guest experience.
- Knowledge of Menu: Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and any potential allergens, to address guests' inquiries accurately.
- Table Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized dining area by promptly clearing empty dishes, resetting tables, and ensuring all necessary condiments and utensils are available.
- Handling Payment: Present bills to guests and process payments accurately. Handle cash and electronic transactions securely and efficiently.
- Collaborating with the Kitchen: Communicate effectively with the kitchen staff to ensure a smooth flow of orders and address any special requests or modifications.
- Handling Complaints: Address any guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally. Seek assistance from a manager if necessary to resolve issues satisfactorily.
- Adhering to Health and Safety Standards: Follow proper food safety and hygiene practices to maintain a clean and safe dining environment for guests and staff.
- Teamwork: Work cohesively with other wait staff, kitchen staff, and management to provide outstanding service and maintain a harmonious working environment.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a waiter/waitress is with a minimum of 2 years.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with guests and colleagues effectively.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure, especially during busy periods.
- Knowledge of food and beverage service etiquette.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure orders are accurate and guests' needs are met.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods.
