Procurement Administrator

**SUMMARY OF POSITION**
The Procurement Administrator will be responsible for all administration regarding procurement, and monitoring of all purchases.
**ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Ensure that administration regarding Requests to Order is seen to on a daily basis.
- Check pricing/Codes
- Examine RTO’s sent by administrators
- Encourage branches to transfer stock to expedite saving of unnecessary buying, if found to be cost-effective
- Approve RTO’s and create purchase orders
- Suppliers
- create new codes
- Send new supplier information to the administrators department
- Upload BEE certificates and keep fields updated on Syspro
- Assist the cost accountant with open Purchase orders of various branches.
- Do the Head Offices request to order as requested
- Count and check stock for the Head office store when needed
- Price list/ supplier data/ stock data
- Maintain and keep updated open codes for branches
- GRN HO Purchase Orders
- Build relationships with Admin/RTO requestors - view as our Procurement dept clients
- Upload Po’s on Google Drive and use Forms to keep a record of all purchasing
- Assist with administering Approvals procedure implemented to assist Bookkeeper/Accounts Payable to budget for day to day Petty Cash expenses within the group
- Assist Head Office Projects with RTO’s and admin when needed
- **Health and Safety Responsibility.**
- Has a legal obligation to report any deviations that could lead to an Accident.
- Has a legal obligation to participate in Safety Training to improve safety standards.
- Has a legal obligation to report incidents and accidents before end of shift.
- Has a legal obligation to adhere to company's Health and safety procedure.
- Has a responsibility to look after his/her own safety and other employees.
**Any other reasonable duties and responsibilities in line with your capabilities and at the request of your Superior.**
**JOB REQUIREMENTS**
- Minimum of grade 12.
- Knowledge of procurement and business processes essential would be an advantage.
- 3 years experience in procurement would be an advantage.
- Syspro or any procurement system knowledge would be an advantage.
- MS Office proficiency.
- Product knowledge would be an advantage.
- Good with administration.
- Processes Knowledge(Normal Business processes)
**BEHAVIOURAL REQUIREMENTS**
- Be able to continually work correctly and concentrate for long times
- Attention to detail
- Good communication(written and verbal)
- Good time management
- Follow up on the system
- Flair for admin
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Randburg, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
