An experienced Director of Golf / Manager is sought to join this estate based in the surrounding area of Stellenbosch. You will be required to operate at both a tactical and strategic level, managing and continuously developing all aspects of the golf business. This involves providing a clear vision for its strategic direction, whilst taking personal responsibility for identifying additional sales and marketing opportunities; customer service excellence is consistently delivered, and revenues and profitability are maximised. Areas of responsibility will include the golf academy, golf shop, golf course maintenance, locker room, food and beverage, outside golf services, golf-specific sales and marketing, the members’ club and the facility’s administration.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a similar role essential
- Well presented and in good health
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Customer focussed
- Have strong leadership skills. Be able to motivate, build a team, coach and mentor
- Mature in character with a positive, "can do" attitude
- Strong financial acumen - results driven
- Good organisational and planning skills
- Creative, thinking outside the box
- Strong presentation skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail
- In touch with current industry trends
- Own transport with drivers' license
