Account Manager: Lighting

Join this national and significant market leader of high-quality cast acrylic products and LED components. They have an exciting opportunity for an Account Manager in Gauteng.

**Responsibilities**:

- Being the critical link between company and customers
- Presenting the company solutions that help their customers to address their challenges with their great product portfolio, product expertise and strong market position
- Assist in the company goal to achieve customer excellence and contribute to the company continued growth, ensuring solutions (substrates and lighting) are specified in to the brand owners for projects across the various markets (retail, banking, petrochemical) through close working relationships with signage companies, fabricators, architects, developers as well as design companies
- You would be required to seek, promote, provide and support the above with the company’s products and services with focus on solution selling, facilitating joint meetings with all stakeholders where necessary
- Continual identification of new projects at design / conceptual stage
- Developing projects in the upstream pipeline through specification work and monitoring until successfully specified and tendered out
- Handling the project follow up responsibilities to the relevant Sales Executive OR take on direct responsibility if a strategically key account
- Developing key specification statements for the company in order to facilitate system specifications to differentiate the company products from competitors
- Utilize a sales process that is a problem-led approach to determine if and how a change in a product could bring specific improvements that are desired by the customers
- Gather and monitor competitor activities, market trends and provide feedback and comments to the management
- Create new product awareness and benefits
- Effectively promote the company’s name to build brand preference and brand loyalty
- Liaise with professional associations across the various territories

**Desired Experience & Qualification**
- Matric
- Additional sales related qualifications
- 5-10 years in sales in a senior position
- Experience selling within Lighting and Signage (would be advantageous)

**Package & Remuneration**

Basic (flexible depending on experience) + Car Allowance

Commission, attractive incentives, and benefits

**Salary**: R20,000.00 - R40,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Gauteng, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- High School (matric) (preferred)

**Experience**:

- lighting: 3 years (required)
- signage: 3 years (preferred)
