Montague Gardens, South Africa Southern Air Maintenance (Pty) Ltd Full time

Working knowledge of Air-conditioning, Refrigeration and Chilled water and split units is essential.

**Key Performance Requirements**
- Provide technical assistance to technicians when requested
- Manage the site installation / servicing on multiple sites
- This would include managing various teams on multiple sites.
- Teams to include Site Supervisor on large sites.
- Teams to include Site Foreman on large sites.
- Sub-Contractors on sites.
- Prioritizing and coordinating jobs, as well as rescheduling tasks in response to deadline changes.
- Review and inspect all work carried out by the technical teams both before and after completion
- Ensures budgeting guidelines are met; prioritizes expenditures to stay within budget
- Ensure the service providers Service level agreements are managed according to the terms and conditions that were agreed on.
- Ad hoc Duties:

- Attending to client meetings / Client communication and follow-ups
- Project /tender costings
- Repairs costings
- Service level agreement costings
- Checking preventative maintenance tick sheets
- Processing call out (Manager job cards)
- Creditors - Signing off invoices
- Debtors - Following up with payments
- Ordering parts & materials
- Reports (Failure reports, suggestions etc. )
- Monthly KPI / Performance Meetings
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment for the team.
- Compliance and Safety: Adhere to safety regulations and guidelines when working with HVAC systems, including handling refrigerants properly, following electrical safety protocols, and maintaining proper ventilation and exhaust systems

**Key Capability Requirements**
- **Formal education**_
- Grade 12 / Matric
- Air Conditioning and Refrigeration certificates, Safe Handling of Refrigerants certificate
- HVAC & R trade test
- Gas License
- **Knowledge**_
- Air-conditioning, Refrigeration, Chilled water and split units & Electrical and mechanical knowledge related to air conditioning and refrigeration
- **Years of Experience**_
- Minimum 10+ years

**Other Requirements**
- Good physical health is required. The appointee will be required to undergo OHSA Medical Examinations to be allowed to access to various client sites
- No criminal record
- Valid South African Driver’s License and driving ability
- Valid work permit (If applicable)

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Montague Gardens, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- HVAC Systems: 10 years (required)

License/Certification:

- Drivers License (required)
