1. Position Purpose

Oversee the South African BSD's B2B Sales function by leading comprehensive sales strategies for diverse international markets, driving revenue growth and market expansion. The position holder leads a diverse sales team, optimizes global sales processes, and ensures continuous improvement in line with the organization's overall objectives. Additionally, the position holder focuses on cultivating and retaining B2B key accounts regionally. This includes addressing client-specific needs, budget management, and providing insights for financial risk mitigation strategy. Lastly, the position holder identifies and executes new market entry strategies. The position holder frequently fosters strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and potential business partners.

2. Key ResponsibilitiesA. Strategic and Managerial Responsibilities:

- **Strategic and Planning**:

- Implement the B2B Sales functional strategy in line with business vision, mission, and corporate objectives.
- Ensure that the overall business strategy is translated into annual B2B Sales operational business plans and the performance is monitored to ensure business plans are in line with the overall strategy.
- **Policy, Procedures, Process and Systems**:

- Implement B2B Sales functional policy, systems, processes, procedures, and controls covering all B2B Sales functional areas in line with company policies to ensure fulfillment of all relevant procedural/legislative requirements while delivering quality and cost-effective service in a consistent manner.
- **Compliance**:

- Manage Sales related compliance frameworks and programs within the B2B Sales department, ensuring alignment with local and international laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Establish reporting mechanisms to proactively monitor and report on risk and compliance issues within the B2B Sales department, and collaborate with senior leadership to escalate critical matters for timely resolution, while also offering recommendations for mitigation.

- **Sales Management**:

- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies tailored to diverse international markets, aiming to achieve sustainable revenue growth and market expansion.
- Lead and mentor a culturally diverse sales team, ensuring they adapt to different global regions, and optimize global sales processes to maintain efficiency.
- Continuously improve sales processes and workflows, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in lead generation, qualification, and closing deals.
- Adapt to cross-cultural nuances and execute process optimization.
- **Customer Management**:

- Cultivate and retain B2B client relationships across a variety of global markets, ensuring that client-specific needs are addressed and leading to sustained customer loyalty.
- Conduct thorough assessments of customer requirements, considering the unique dynamics of each region, and focus on consistent global customer satisfaction through proactive issue resolution.
- Implement a global customer advocacy program, encouraging satisfied clients to serve as references and advocates for your company.
- **Budget Management**:

- Allocate resources across multiple markets, taking into account varying economic conditions, currency fluctuations, and regulatory demands. This process involves the careful assessment of potential return on investment (ROI) in each region and includes contingency planning for unexpected financial fluctuations.
- Implement stringent cost controls and oversee regional expenditure while generating comprehensive financial reports for cross-border analysis.
- Create a global financial risk mitigation strategy that addresses currency exchange risks, economic instability, and other financial challenges that may impact the company’s global operations.
