Company Secretary required by CA firm based in Century City

Remuneration: R20,000 per month negotiable

Minimum Requirements:

- Matriculation, further tertiary education highly beneficial.
- 2+ years' experience in a related role.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with accounting principles and procedures.
- Proficient in MS Office suite; knowledge of accounting software (GreatSoft) is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
- Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.

Responsibilities will include:
CIPC administration (previous experience a minimum requirement):

- Name reservations, company formations, MOI amendments, year-end changes
- Securities transfers, allotments, share buy backs, director amendments and updating of details
- Address changes, deregistration, beneficial ownership declarations

Deceased Estate Administration (previous experience a minimum requirement):

- Communicate with financial institutions to obtain certificates and realize investments
- Communication with the Master of the High Court

Administrative Support:

- Prepare minutes, compile and maintain secretarial records

Documentation and Filing:

- Organize and maintain filing systems for financial documents.
- Manage documentation in an efficient and accessible manner.

Communication:

- Liaise with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders professionally.
- Communicate effectively within the accounting team.
