Personal Assistant: Departmental Strategic

**Job Purpose**:
The Department of Transport and Public Works, Western Cape Government has an opportunity for a suitably qualified and competent individual to render a secretarial support service to management. This post is stationed in Cape Town (CBD).
**Minimum Requirements**:
Grade 12 (Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification) plus an accredited secretarial diploma and/or administrative qualification on the level of NQF level 5 (a certificate of completion should be provided); A minimum of 3 years experience in rendering secretarial/ administrative support services to management/ senior management; A valid (Code B or higher) driving licence.
NB: People with disabilities that restrict driving abilities, but who have reasonable access to transport, may also apply.

Knowledge of the following: Relevant legislation, policies, prescripts and procedures; Financial administration; Skills needed: Proven computer literacy; Organising; Good people skills; Communication (written, verbal and presentation) skills. Ability to: Communicate well with various stakeholders at different levels and from different backgrounds; Act with tact and discretion; Do research and analyse documents and situations.
**Remuneration**:
**R 261 372 per annum (Salary level 7)**
