**Descriptions**:

- **Key account Management**:

- Grow market share within retail group
- Price and product negotiations
- Secure shelf space
- manage demand and supply
- obtain retailer forecasted demand plans
- obtain supply forecasts from suppliers
- attend meetings with retailer to finalize pre-season matters such as packaging types, product specifications.
- engage with the retailer on a weekly basis to touch base on all things relevant to the campaign as recorded herein
- liaise with the retailer to change product specifications during the season when dispensation was required
- attend to development of the point of sale, POS, at all levels, budget, design, audits, implementation and coordination.
- **Branding**:

- develop branded packaging material
- work closely with all relevant parties on the artwork of any new packaging types, promotional material (such as shelf banners for stores, organize printing and distribution of floor decals to all retail stores,etc.)
- send update reports to the brand owner and suppliers from time to time
- Attend to development of promotions and brand activation during the campaign (budgets, types of promotions, development and implementation, coordination with the retailer)
- Brand development
- Packaging - look and feel
- Brand awareness and marketing
- draft a three year branding and marketing plan, in line with the Global brand plan
- **Logistics**:

- match weekly supply and demand forecasts throughout the season
- engage with the suppliers representatives and pack houses to prepare for the upcoming season
- arange and communicate third party quality reports to suppliers within 24 hours after receipt and following up on any quality issues where applicable
- Coordinate volumes and availability
- Ensure that product is delivered according to specifications required packing instructions, load out instructions management reports
- **Administration and reporting**:

- attend to meetings and written communication with the management committee to discuss day to day operational matters
- Marketing and logistics administration
- Reporting to directors on volumes and sales
- Marketing reporting to executives
- quality assurance and control
- certifications and audits
- capture the weekly actual delivered volume per SKU per supplier on the master file
- obtain weekly sales data from the retailer

**Qualifications**:

- Tertiary qualification relevant to the position (logistics, marketing, agriculture value chain, project management)
- 5+ years’ experience in fresh produce related value chain activities in foreign and/or local markets
- Advanced relationship management skills, including excellent communication and conflict management skills
- Extensive industry network including growers and value
- chain stakeholders
- Knowledge and experience of managing commercial
