Training Business Development Officer

Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales.
- Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased training business.
- Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales.
- Cold calling as appropriate to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
- Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network.
- Identify potential clients, and the decision makers
- Research and build relationships with new clients.
- Set up meetings between client decision makers and company’s training team, associate consultants or executive representatives.
- Plan approaches and pitches. Work with the training team to develop appropriate proposals, concepts or quotes that speak to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives.
- Recruiting, training, and guiding business development staff.
- Submit accurate regular progress reports
- Meeting and/or exceeding individual targets and contributing to the overall team targets (monthly, quarterly and annual).
- Participate in pricing the training solutions/services.
- Work with other team member to ensure that the Company is prequalified as a training provider.
- Analyzing financial data and developing effective strategies to reduce business costs and increase company profits.
- Ad hock projects
**REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE**
- National Diploma or Bachelor's degree in business management or administration, finance, accounting, marketing, or related field.
- Must have proven experience working experience in business development, marketing and sales in training, consulting or similar environment
- The ability to travel as needed.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and management skills.
- Exceptional negotiation and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Strong business acumen.
