**About Delta-v**
We accelerate the growth of international B2B FinTech and SaaS companies that provide complex solutions. We do this by building and managing sales development teams that embed into the sales organizations of growing FinTech startups. We’re based in Claremont, Cape Town, and have an environment where we’re focussed on achievement, constant learning, autonomy, transparency, and building a great team that works hard and has fun together.
**About the role**
This role is an opportunity to become a Business Development Specialist and learn how to increase new logo acquisition by generating a high-quality sales pipeline of opportunities. We are looking for an entrepreneurial and aspiring sales individual to join Delta-v's Outbound team. When you join you'll go through our Go-to-Market Academy training program, which is an elite entry-level business programme to kick-start your sales career. In this role, you'll be responsible for executing the outbound strategy of a successful start-up, where you'll be focussed on reaching out to and engaging C-level executives and some of the world's largest enterprise companies. You'll also have a clear progression path for moving into a leadership role within 2 years.
**What you'll be responsible for**
- Developing a deep understanding of the FinTech & SaaS space in different markets across EMEA
- Prospecting potential customers that match Delta-v's ICP
- Research to identify and understand the right people to reach out to
- Joining meetings and demos with prospects
- Contributing to the tactics and being involved in creating the strategy of the Go-to-Market campaigns you're involved in
**Requirements**:
You'll be a great fit for this role if you meet the following requirements:
- University degree
- 1+ years experience in a customer-facing role (ideally something sales-related) following your studies
- Strong demonstrable interest in sales, Saas & FinTech, and Startups
- High levels of energy, curiosity, enthusiasm, and resilience
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Based in Cape Town, or can easily relocate
- South African Citizen
