**Senior Shopper Manager**

**What You Will Do**

To use their understanding of how shoppers shop the category in different channels to identify and implement channel and customer-specific point of purchase strategies and plans. As well as to develop and execute category and brand building initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop an understanding of how shoppers shop the category and uses this to identify and recommend strategic opportunities for the business.
- Analyze basket and shopper data across key categories to develop insights that will lead to category and brand growth driving initiatives.
- Provide leadership and support to direct report (Shopper manager) responsible for Shopper marketing of Essential Health brands.
- Develop and lead the implementation of effective ranging, merchandising, pricing, availability, promotional & POS plans by Channel and/or customers.
- Supports the innovation process by providing insights into customer needs, shopper behaviour and POP drivers.
- Designs, develops and implements Brand specific POP /trade activities along the path to purchase.
- Develops and lead the implementation of and evaluates all shopper marketing or customer specific initiatives through close collaboration with key Customer and Kenvue stakeholders.
- Manages cross-functional alignment and ensures all stakeholders are briefed at the appropriate time and forum.
- Develops internal and external Category Reviews that highlight opportunities and make recommendations from a Category, Brand and Customer point of view.
- Develops the trade rationale for Innovation/Category activities for inclusion in trade presenters and presentations to the trade (where applicable supports the Customer Mangers in developing customer specific rationale).
- Analyses Category data and takes corrective action where applicable.
- Manages budgets and ROI of activities.
- Develop & maintain effective relationships with key Customers through regular customer reviews, managing the Catman process and project feedback sessions.
- Acquire knowledge of the Quality Management System that has been adopted by the AMET Cluster of Marketing Companies and the relevant Quality System Procedures that are applicable to the job through the inclusion of related processes and procedures in the individual training plan and implementation of these procedures in the applicable job-related processes.

Report any non-compliance or deviation to the Business Quality and Compliance Head of the sub-cluster in RAMET

**Qualifications**:

Required Qualifications
- 8+ years' experience in FMCG environment with extensive experience in Category management and trade marketing.
- Customer engagement experience essential (Shoprite, Dischem, Spar, Clicks)
- Strong analytical and conceptual abilities
- Ability to manage complexity - multiple stakeholders and Channels.
- Strong leadership skills having managed a team
