Insurance Administrative Officer

Our client, a UK based company is looking for an Insurance Administrative Officer / Paraplanner to join their highly effective and professional team in Cape Town.

**Function**:
To assist financial advisors with administrative services in their investment practice based in the UK and South Africa. Take responsibility for the delivery of professional end-to-end customer services. Maintain and enhance client and team relationships.

**KEY REQUIREMENTS**:

- Proficient in spoken English.
- Excellent written English is required and report-writing skills is a necessity.
- Proven track record in dealing with clients and team management.
- Financial Services Industry work experience.

Minimums entry-level qualification equivalent to Grade 12 / NQF4 qualification.

**RECOMMENDED REQUIREMENTS**:
Financial Services Legislation: Knowledge of regulatory requirements, e.g. FICA, AML, and POPI and financial services industry environment.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
New Business processing

Pension Investment Transfers

Conduct monthly switches to / from client funds

Monthly Financial analytics

Conduct annual re-balance of portfolios

Client liaison and organization of client meetings

Prepare and review meeting summaries for client meetings

Responsible for SA and UK Compliance Audits

Responsible for maintaining database with complete records

Managing team of administrators

Insurance renewals
