Assistant Reservations Manager

Minimum of 2 years in a similar role in Management.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- ** Reservations Management**: Assist in managing the reservations system, ensuring all bookings are accurately processed and updated in real-time. Handle inquiries and changes in reservations efficiently.
- ** Customer Service**: Provide outstanding service to guests by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring all special requests are met. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times.
- ** Team Support**: Collaborate with the Reservations Manager to train, mentor, and supervise the reservations team. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and continuous improvement.
- ** Reporting and Analysis**: Assist in generating reports related to occupancy, revenue, and booking trends. Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and provide actionable insights.
- ** Communication**: Liaise with other departments (front desk, sales, and marketing) to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction. Communicate effectively with team members and management.
- ** Process Improvement**: Contribute to the development and implementation of standard operating procedures to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the reservations process.
- ** Inventory Management**: Monitor room availability and inventory levels, adjusting strategies as necessary to maximize occupancy and revenue.
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum Std. 10 (Grade 12)
- Front Office, NQ Level 2 or other relevant tertiary qualifications an advantage.
