**JOB OVERVIEW**

The Head: Commercial Sales and Services is a senior position in the business responsible for developing and implementing strategies for iMasFinance’s Commercial loan portfolio, and ensure the portfolio is profitable. This role will also take full operational responsibility of the loan portfolio including compliance and assurance, sales growth, increasing revenue in the commercial lending department, market analysis, juristic member relationship management and help identify new business opportunities.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND OUTPUTS**
- Develop and execute the overall commercial credit sales and service strategy in alignment with the iMasFinance goals and objectives.
- Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to drive business growth and innovation.
- Acquire new clients and expand existing relationships.
- Develop and implement sales strategies, pricing models, and product offerings to maximize revenue generation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial clients, understanding their business needs, and provide tailored financial solutions.
- Manage covenants as stipulated in loan agreements with commercial clients.
- Engage with internal stakeholders, such as credit risk, legal, and compliance teams, to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align sales efforts to achieve overall business objectives. This includes providing feedback on product enhancements, pricing strategies, and customer requirements. Implement remedial actions where required.
- Continuously provide feedback on product uptake to the Product and Market Development Heads.
- Ensure a high level of client satisfaction through effective communication, responsiveness and problem solving.
- Review the Terms & Conditions and ensure the transactions are fulfilled against the conditions.
- Monitor the commercial credit portfolio, identify potential risks, and implement appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
- Review and analyse credit policies and procedures, recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of organisational standards, policies and procedures and monitor implementation to ensure full compliance.
- Monitor and ensure adherence to statutory regulations, organisational standards, policies, and procedures. Ensure remedial actions is implemented timeously to address non-conformances.
- Ensure effective and regular communication and training of new statutory regulations, organisational standards, policies, and procedures to ensure full awareness amongst employees.
- Collate integrated scorecards and reports for the Commercial Sales function.
- Pro-actively anticipate and report on changes in the Commercial Sales environment. Initiate corrective actions where required.
- Utilize data analytics to identify opportunities for improvement and optimize Commercial Sales strategies.
- Attend learning and development opportunities. Participate in peer and team learning initiatives.

**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**

**Qualifications**:

- 3-year Bachelor's or equivalent degree in Finance or related field (essential)
- Post graduate diploma or professional registration in Business Management will be an advantage.
- Code Motor vehicle licence (manual operated vehicle).

Experience
- 5 years’ operational experience in Sales or Marketing in a financial institution (essential)
- 3 years Management experience in Sales or Marketing in a financial institution. (essential)
