Sales Executive

Condé Nast SA has an exciting opportunity for a sales executive who will be responsible for managing and guiding the advertising sales team to actively market and secure sales revenue income for GQ Magazine revenue streams. Assume responsibility for the sales operation - this includes the development, planning, organising, supervising and controlling of the daily sales operational functions i.e. print, digital, events and Omni channel solutions in order to grow revenue and market share for GQ. Grow the GQ brand, audiences and revenue through commercial input.
Management of agencies and clients within allocated portfolios.
Achieving set revenue targets across various omni-channels (360 degree) revenue streams.
Submit status reports to management
Preparation and presentation of proposals.
Ensuring excellent customer service to all external stakeholders.
Servicing advertising agencies (digital/ traditional) and direct clients.
Understand client’s objectives in order to offer a relevant media solution.
Monitoring client advertising spend and managing client commitments.
Ongoing monitoring of competitor ad spend trends.
Identifying new business opportunities for the group.
Follow up client / agency customer queries.
Keeping the customer and relevant stakeholders updated with advertising developments and trends.
Maintaining client service expectation.
Following company briefing and booking processes.
**Minimum requirements**:
Five years' advertising sales experience - with at least three years' experience dealing with advertising agencies, fashion, beauty and lifestyle clients in general
A post-matric qualification in sales/marketing/media planning/buying.
Extensive knowledge and sales experience within the media industry.
Ability to identify and exploit sales opportunities in the marketplace.
Excellent presentation skills to agencies and clients directly.
Proven sales achievements.
Computer literate.
Sound administrative skills.
Valid code 8 driver's licence and own transport.
Must be self motivated and a team player.
