Business Operations and Systems Administrator

**A. **
Baobab Foods is a producer and wholesale supplier of organic certified baobab powder and other products to the global food and nutrition industry. We are looking for someone methodical and versatile enough to handle a range of administrative tasks across our small team.
**B. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS**
Manufacturing and administration offices of Baobab Foods are both located in Paarl, SA. We also have a USA office. The applicant will be expected to perform relatively the same tasks for both offices on a national and international level.
Tasks include, but are not limited to, the following:
1) Information control and assisting with client relationship management:
i) Processing and/or distributing information received by Baobab Foods (primarily via mail).
ii) Attending to general client inquiries (scope is dependent on applicants’ knowledge and experience)
2) Operational assistance of our plant, from an administration side:
i) Capturing of production reports
ii) Stock control and inventory reports
iii) Health & Safety laws upkeep
iv) Assist with Food Safety development, maintenance and monitoring (scope is dependent on applicants’ knowledge and experience)
FSSC22000 standards are to be up kept.
Preparation for audits
v) Organic certification maintenance
vi) Execution of quality assurance procedure
3) Financial:
i) Accounts Receivable
ii) Accounts Payables
iii) Procurement
iv) Costing
4) Supply Chain: Manage the supply chain process of incoming and outgoing products with 100% traceability record
5) Sales: First line responses
**C. EDUCATION**
i) Matric (Grade 12).
ii) Tertiary education or certification including one or more functions listed above would be preferred.
**D. EXPERIENCE**
i) Minimum 5 years of work experience in intensive administrative positions.
ii) Experience in food production and food safety roles are highly beneficial.
iii) Experience in logistics, transport and shipping are highly beneficial.
iv) Experience in the natural foods and nutrition industry is beneficial.
v) Experience working with Xero is beneficial
**E. SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE**
i) Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
ii) Complete computer literacy and ability to navigate modern online ecosystems such as: Microsoft 365, Teams, Office, CRM systems
iii) Proficient with spreadsheets: Excel | Google sheets
iv) Comfortable in math / algebra and excel spreadsheets formulae.
v) Attention to detail and accuracy.
vi) Valid South African driver's license and own transport.
Pay: R16 000,00 - R22 000,00 per month
